About the event
This interactive and inclusive course is aimed at people who will work or volunteer with people who may be at risk of experiencing substance or gambling related harms.
Learning Outcomes
1. To recognise that we all use coping mechanisms that might include substances and gambling.
2. Know a variety of different substances, their effects and how to minimise the harm of taking them.
3. Understand the reasons people use substances or gamble.
4. Know the current legal implications of substance use including NPS (Novel Psychoactive Substances).
