Come along to our brand-new Pain Café pilot sessions this September and October – a cosy, non-clinical space where people living with ongoing pain can relax, chat, and feel understood. Think of it as a friendly meet-up in a café-style setting, with plenty of open conversation, mutual support, and creative ideas for looking after your well-being.

No Pain, All Gain is a project born out of a clear and pressing need. Many of our clients live with persistent pain and often turn to alcohol, prescription medications, illicit drugs, or other harmful coping strategies to manage it. We also know that opioid prescriptions are disproportionately high in our region, despite their limited effectiveness in addressing persistent pain.

In response, we’ve partnered with healthcare professionals and our friends at Flippin’ Pain to promote safer, more effective ways to understand, talk about, and manage pain. We're equipping health professionals with Flippin’ Pain training and establishing referral pathways to support the next exciting phase of the project: delivering Pain Cafés and intensive one-to-one biopsychosocial support through our recovery coaches.

No Pain, All Gain is a passion project led by a group of team members who have personally transformed their relationship with pain—from struggling through it to learning to live alongside it, and often, to live well. Their journeys have inspired a new way of thinking about pain: one rooted in hope, understanding, and possibility.

If you feel like you’ve tried everything and are still living with pain, we invite you to explore our approach. What do you have to lose by learning something new—especially if it could change everything.

"I deliver training for CADAS & am also a trained Recovery Coach as well as someone living with persistent pain. When I’m not at work I love learning and I’m currently training to be a fitness instructor with a view to providing movement to music classes for people where movement isn’t always easy (because it isn’t for me) for low or no cost (because cost shouldn’t be a barrier)."

"As someone who has navigated the challenges of persistent pain for many years, I bring both professional insight and personal understanding to my work and beiing a CADAS Recovery Coach. My journey has shaped a deep commitment to helping others find ways to manage pain and reclaim a sense of wellbeing. I’m passionate about sharing practical strategies, compassionate support, and hope with those who are ready to explore what living well with pain can truly mean."
