East Cumbria Family Service Team Leader - OPEN
-
Location: East Cumbria, primarily providing tailored support for the improvment of health, wellbeing, and family relationships to individuals and families across East Cumbria.
-
Hours: 30hpw over 4 or 5 days. Fixed Term for 7 months (to be reviewed)
-
Pay and benefits: £17.83 per hour (equating to £34,768.50 for a 37.5 hour full time equivalent), with a 6% pension contribution after the first 6 months.

As an East Cumbria Family Service Team Leader, you will:
-
Deliver adult recovery and Friends & Family support, as well as recovery and educational support to children, including drugs, alcohol and other addictive behaviours.
-
Support families with all social needs identified in the family plan e.g. employment, education, social isolation.
-
Support families across East Cumbria where there is substance misuse, addiction and co‑occurring serious mental illness, developing our presence in East Cumbria.
-
Line management of other employees within the organisation.
-
Assess and review family needs to a tailored support plan.
-
Promote the '5 Ways to Wellbeing' Framework.
-
Work proactively with external agencies involved with the family and attend multi-agency meetings.
-
Signpost family members to appropriate specialist services when required.
-
Oversee and monitor the service users' journey, including feedback and evaluations.
-
Utilise evaluation tools and systems including inputting data to capture evidence and impact. Preparing and reporting to CEO, line manager and external funders.

Work collaboratively with the wider CADAS team, including supporting CADAS Volunteers to work alongside your delivery support.

Lead on effective safeguarding practice and protection of all individuals.
-
Develop own skills, achieved through formal and informal training in relation to family work, addiction theory and practice.

What we’re looking for:
-
Proven experience of supporting individuals affected by their own substance misuse or someone else's.
-
Experience in working with vulnerable adults, young people or families in recovery, and understanding the barriers they may face.
-
Strong assessment, planning and motivational skills.
-
Experience of leading a team and direct line managment.
-
Excellent teamwork, communication and safeguarding awareness.
-
A genuine desire to make a positive difference.

Recovery Coach (West Cumbria) - CLOSED

Location: Supporting clients across West Cumbria.

As a Recovery Coach, you will:

Support vulnerable clients with substance misuse, addiction and co‑occurring serious mental illness.
-
Manage your own caseload, from referral through to sustained recovery and after‑care.
-
Deliver one‑to‑one sessions via face‑to‑face, phone or video—reach clients locally or county‑wide.
-
Lead Support Group sessions, group facilitation and 1:1 support - creating a safe space to boost engagement, self‑esteem and long‑term recovery.
-
Collaborate with partner organisations, championing best practice in safeguarding and recovery coaching.

What we’re looking for:
