The Carlisle Project covered by Carlisle and Eden District council and Carlisle city council aims to improve the health of local people who are damaging themselves with drink or drugs. We provide training for local people including ex users to up skill themselves, improve their self-awareness, confidence and communication skills not only to help others live a more resourceful life but help themselves in terms of employment and further education and training-

We offer a free 4 Day “Community Ambassador” course which trains up members of the public in effective communication techniques. We also recruit and train volunteers to deliver substance use 1-1 sessions with our clients.

We deliver free Drug and Alcohol awareness training to local communities in Carlisle

We offer a family support service to improve communication and relationships between families as well as conflict mediation

We will also be delivering talks to communities and other agencies to raise awareness of the Big Lottery – Carlisle Project

If you feel the community you live in would benefit from you becoming more involved or for more information on Cadas’s free services,
